Akram Elamaari MD

Bio

Dr. Elamaari is a Licensed Pediatrician in the State of Georgia, born in St. Louis, Missouri. He started his medical career in Libya where he attended medical school at University of Al-Fateh Faculty of Medicine. After graduating in 2005, he completed his residency in Pediatrics in 2009 at Tripoli Medical Center, one of largest hospitals in North Africa. In recognition of his academic excellence he was granted a full scholarship to further his education in the United States.

His training in the US was split between New York at New Methodist Hospital and in Georgia at the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he had the unique opportunity to experience what is like to practice in both the Northern and Southern parts of the Country, which exposed him to a very diverse patient population. After completing his training in Georgia, Dr. Elamaari traveled back to Libya and worked for over two years serving in under privileged and war torn areas, where he gained valuable experience and sharpened his clinical skills in the most critical situations.

Dr. Elamaari has excellent experience in General pediatrics, Neonatology, Pediatric emergency, as well as Adolescent and Child Health. His passion for travel has made him well cultured and that combined with his love and commitment to the field of Pediatrics has made him a doctor who is always able to satisfy the needs of his patients and their families.

Served in an Area of need in which medical attention was not readily available in Ashburn, Ga. Dr. Elamaari joined ZÖe Pediatrics on 9/4/2018.
